Windsor Farm Elementary has an upcoming production of “Aladdin Jr.” Every student who auditioned earned a spot in the show, but the audition process determined who would be cast in each role. To audition, students had to sing part of “A Whole New World” in a group of students and read a few lines from the play. Any students who wanted to be considered for a lead role had to sing a solo. The musical will run for about an hour, and only one of the two performances is open to the public. The plot of “Aladdin Jr.” is the same story told in Disney’s “Aladdin.” The lead roles are Andrew Luisi as Aladdin, Maggie McInerney as Jasmine, Cole German as Genie and Elena Durkin as Jafar. The performances will be held June 1 and 2.
